□ 서울특별시환경교육센터(센터장 이용성)는 6월 24일 서울 용산 나인트리 프리미어 로카우스 호텔에서 「전국광역환경교육센터협의회 간담회」를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 이번 간담회에는 전국 12개 광역환경교육센터가 참여하여 각 기관의 주요 현황을 공유하고, 오는 8월 개최 예정인 「전국광역환경교육센터협의회 2026 워크숍」 운영방안과 지역환경교육 활성화를 위한 공동 과제를 집중 논의하였다.
□ 서울특별시환경교육센터는 환경교육법에 따라 서울에너지드림센터에 지정(서울특별시 지정 ’24.05.02)된 광역환경교육센터로 광역환경교육의 거점 기능을 수행하고 있다. 서울특별시환경교육센터는 전국의 광역환경교육센터에 공식 제안한 광역환경교육센터 협의체 모임인 전국광역환경교육센터협의회의 사무국을 맡고 있다.
□ 광역환경교육센터는 환경교육법에 따른 광역환경교육의 거점기관으로, 현재 전국의 17개 시도 중 15개 시도에 18개의 광역환경교육센터가 지정・운영 중이다. 전국광역환경교육센터협의회는 지난 2월 세종특별자치시에서의 첫 회의를 통해 공식 출범한 이후 광역환경교육센터 간 협력체계 구축과 지역환경교육 발전을 위한 공동 대응을 추진하고 있다. 이번 간담회에서는 출범 이후 첫 전국 단위 워크숍 준비상황을 점검하고, 광역환경교육센터와 기초환경교육센터 간 협력 확대 방안을 중심으로 의견을 나누었다.
□ 특히 참석자들은 오는 8월 26일부터 28일까지 경남환경교육원에서 개최되는 「2026 전국 광역환경교육센터협의회 워크숍」의 세부 운영방안을 논의하였다. 이번 워크숍은 전국의 광역 및 기초환경교육센터를 대상으로 광역・기초환경교육센터 공동발전을 위한 첫 워크숍으로, 종사자 직무교육, 지리산 탐방, 광역·기초환경교육센터 교류, 지역환경교육센터 운영 개선 논의 등으로 구성되며, 이날 간담회에서는 이번 워크숍의 주요 내용을 구체적으로 논의하였다.
□ 덧붙여, 이날 간담회에서는 지역환경교육센터의 지속가능한 운영 기반 마련을 위한 제도 개선 필요성도 주요 의제로 다루어졌다. 참석자들은 지역환경교육센터 지정·운영지침의 개선 방향을 논의하기 위해 사전 현황조사를 실시하고, 사업비와 인력, 처우 등 현장의 의견을 수렴하여 향후 국가 차원의 정책 제안과 국회 토론회 개최로 연계해 나가기로 뜻을 모았다.
□ 또한 광역환경교육센터와 기초환경교육센터가 함께 참여하는 첫 전국 규모의 교류 행사인 만큼, 지역 간 협력과 연대를 상징하는 「지역환경교육 지리산 선언문(가칭)」을 공동으로 마련하는 방안도 논의하였다. 아울러 국가환경교육센터의 지속적인 협력관계를 통해 국가-지역환경교육 발전을 위한 공동 거버넌스를 강화해 나가기로 의견을 모았다.
□ 경상남도환경교육원 남용욱 부장(전국광역환경교육센터협의회 회장)은 "전국광역환경교육센터협의회는 출범 이후 지역환경교육의 현안을 함께 고민하고 해결방안을 만들어가는 협력 플랫폼으로 자리매김하고 있으며, 이번 간담회는 8월 전국 워크숍을 준비하는 과정일 뿐만 아니라, 전국의 광역환경교육센터가 지속가능한 지역환경교육의 미래를 함께 만들어가기 위한 중요한 논의의 장이었다"고 밝혔다.
□ 서울특별시환경교육센터 이용성 센터장(전국광역환경교육센터협의회 부회장) 또한, "앞으로 전국광역환경교육센터협의회는 지역환경교육 현장의 목소리를 바탕으로 지역환경교육 정책 개선과 협력체계 구축을 지속적으로 추진하여 국가-지역 협력형 환경교육의 발전을 위해 함께 노력하겠다"라고 말했다.

SEOUL ENERGY DREAM CENTER (hereinafter "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent shall be taken in accordance with applicable laws.
- Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership, and preventing unauthorized use of services. - Customer inquiry handling
Personal information is processed for receiving inquiries through 1:1 inquiries and bulletin boards, contacting for fact verification, and notifying processing results.
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

During the use of services, IP addresses, access logs, cookies, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from the data subject, or within the period prescribed by law.
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the completion of said investigation.
- Non-member board post information: Until the post is deleted.
- 1:1 Inquiry information: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing (retention of records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under applicable laws.
Currently, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for smooth processing:

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)
- The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Destruction method: Personal information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irreproducible, and personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to suspend processing
- Rights may be exercised in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company shall take action without delay.
- If a data subject requests correction or deletion of personal information errors, the Company shall not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
- Password encryption: User passwords are encrypted for storage and management, so only the user can know them.
- Technical measures against hacking: Security programs are installed and regularly updated and inspected to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses.
- Access restriction: Access to personal information is controlled through the granting, changing, and revoking of access rights to the database system that processes personal information.
Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing:

Article 10 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the changes.
