지역환경교육 협력 강화를 위한 ‘2026년 서울형 환경교육 거버넌스 포럼’ 개최

□ 서울특별시환경교육센터(센터장 이용성)는 지난 2월 25일(수), 서울에너지드림센터에서 지역환경교육 이해관계자가 참여한 가운데, 「2026년 제1차 서울형 환경교육 거버넌스 포럼」을 개최했다.
○ 서울특별시환경교육센터는 「환경교육의 활성화 및 지원에 관한 법률」 및 「서울특별시 환경교육의 활성화 및 지원에 관한 조례」에 따라 서울에너지드림센터에 지정된 광역환경교육센터(지정: ’24. 5. 2.)로 ‘환경학습도시 서울’의 환경교육 활성화를 위해 광역환경교육의 거점 역할을 수행하고 있다.
○ 서울특별시에 지정된 기초환경교육센터(지정권자 : 자치구청장)는 현재(2026년 2월말) 25개 자치구 중 13개 자치구에서 16개소가 지정·운영 중이며, 서울특별시가 지정하는 사회환경교육기관은 16개소가 운영되고 있다. 이날 거버넌스 포럼에는 광역환경교육센터(서울특별시환경교육센터)와 기초환경교육센터 7개소, 사회환경교육기관 9개소 등 지역환경교육 관계자와 서울특별시 기후환경정책과 기후환경교육팀 담당자 등 총 23명이 참여하였다.
□ 「서울형 환경교육 거버넌스 포럼」은 중장기적 관점에서 서울형 환경교육 거버넌스 체계 구축을 위해 추진하는 서울특별시환경교육센터 사업으로, 이번 포럼은 서울의 광역·기초환경교육센터 및 사회환경교육기관 등이 함께하는 협의체 출범을 주요 골자로 진행되었다. 그밖에도 이번 포럼에서는 서울 환경교육 활성화를 위해 앞으로의 포럼 방향성 설정과 상호협력형 추진사업 발굴, 기타 공동 연계·협력 추진 방안 등을 중심 의제로 다뤘다.
○ 사회를 맡은 이윤영 주임(서울특별시환경교육센터)은 포럼 시작에 앞서 참석자 간 소개와 포럼 운영 개요를 안내하고, 2026년 광역환경교육센터의 주요 사업 및 지역 협력사업을 공유하였다.
○ 이어 권종휘 팀장(서울특별시환경교육센터)은 서울의 환경교육 활성화를 위한 광역·기초환경교육센터 및 사회환경교육기관 간 파트너십 기반 협력을 중심으로 본 포럼의 운영 방향과 협력사업 모델 제안, 공동 연계·협력 추진사업 발굴 방안 등에 대해 제안하고 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.
□ 이번 포럼은 앞으로 추진될 협의체 운영의 시발점으로, 서울특별시환경교육센터는 지속적인 거버넌스 포럼을 통해 참여기관 간 직접적인 소통 채널을 마련하고, 분기별 서울형 내부학습포럼 및 사업성과 공유, 환경교육주간 TF 등을 함께 연계·협력하여 공동사업을 추진할 계획이다.
□ 이용성 센터장(서울특별시환경교육센터)은 “이번 서울형 환경교육 거버넌스 포럼을 통해 지역사회 내 기관 간 협력체계를 보다 강화하고, 광역-기초환경교육센터 및 사회환경교육기관 간 지속적인 포럼 개최함으로서 파트너십에 기반한 서울형 환경교육 활성화 모델을 확대하는 데 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

SEOUL ENERGY DREAM CENTER (hereinafter "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent shall be taken in accordance with applicable laws.
- Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership, and preventing unauthorized use of services. - Customer inquiry handling
Personal information is processed for receiving inquiries through 1:1 inquiries and bulletin boards, contacting for fact verification, and notifying processing results.
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

During the use of services, IP addresses, access logs, cookies, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from the data subject, or within the period prescribed by law.
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the completion of said investigation.
- Non-member board post information: Until the post is deleted.
- 1:1 Inquiry information: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing (retention of records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under applicable laws.
Currently, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for smooth processing:

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)
- The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Destruction method: Personal information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irreproducible, and personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to suspend processing
- Rights may be exercised in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company shall take action without delay.
- If a data subject requests correction or deletion of personal information errors, the Company shall not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
- Password encryption: User passwords are encrypted for storage and management, so only the user can know them.
- Technical measures against hacking: Security programs are installed and regularly updated and inspected to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses.
- Access restriction: Access to personal information is controlled through the granting, changing, and revoking of access rights to the database system that processes personal information.
Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing:

Article 10 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the changes.
