2024년 종량제폐기물 190톤/일 감축!
26년까지 450톤/일 감축 목표!
2026년 ‘수도권 지역 생활폐기물 직매립 금지’ 시행이
1년 앞으로 다가왔어요.
이를 대비해 서울시는 재활용 체계 구축 및 확대,
제로웨이스트 서울 프로젝트 등 다각적인 노력을 기울인 결과,
'26년 종량제폐기물 감축 목표인 450톤/일의
약 42%인 190톤/일을 줄였어요.
어떻게 가능했을까요?
<종량제봉투에 넣어 버렸던 봉제원단·커피박·폐비닐 재활용 체계 마련>
■ 봉제원단 폐기물
지난해 발생량 84톤/일 중 절반이 넘는 61%(52톤)이
종량제봉투에 배출되어 소각·매립된 ‘봉제원단’을 체계적으로 관리한 결과,
일일 소각·매립량(52톤/일)의 99%에 이르는 51톤/일을 재활용으로 전환했어요.
* 봉제원단 폐기물 : 표본·패턴 제작 등 원단을 재단하는 과정에서 발생하는 자투리
■ 커피박(커피찌꺼기)
재활용이 가능하지만 수거 체계가 없어 종량제봉투에 버려졌던
‘커피박(커피찌꺼기)’ 재활용도 전년 대비 1.2톤/일 증가했어요.
중구·송파구 등 6개 자치구에
커피박 수거 체계가 구축됐으며 점차 확대해 나갈 예정!

■ 폐비닐
폐비닐 또한 자원화가 가능하지만
하루 406톤 가량이 종량제봉투에 버려졌는데요(‘22년)
폐비닐 재활용율을 높이기 위해 재활용 품목을 확대하고
’폐비닐 중점관리구역‘을 정하는 등 다양한 노력을 기울인 결과,
사업 초기임에도 불구하고 폐비닐 재활용량은
’24년 8월 기준 전년 동기 대비 7.8% 증가했어요.

- 유색비닐, 일반쓰레기를 보관하던 비닐
- 양파망, 비닐장갑
- 음식재료 포장 비닐, 스티커가 붙은 비닐
<제로웨이스트 서울 프로젝트로 일회용컵 685만 개 감량>
■ 일회용컵 줄이기
텀블러를 가져오면 음료를 제공하는
‘개인 컵 사용의 날’ 캠페인(총 24회)을 비롯해,
카페에서 운영하는 텀블러 할인제에
300원을 추가로 할인해 주는 ‘개인 컵 사용 포인트제’ 등
소상공인 카페, 대학, 공공기관, 기업체 등과 함께 개인 컵 사용 문화를 확산했어요.
그 결과 ‘24년 1월부터 9월까지 약 685만 개의 일회용 컵을 감량하는 성과를 거뒀어요.

■ 다회용기 보급
특히 일회용 플라스틱 사용이 많은 장례식장, 야구장, 행사·축제 등에
다회용기를 보급해 ‘24년 1월~9월 동안 일회용 용기 567만 개 사용을 줄였어요.
◆ 서울의료원, 동부병원, 보라매병원, 삼성서울병원 등
장례식장에 다회용기 도입해 일회용기 328만 개 감량
◆ 제로식당(다회용기 배달) 서비스를 15개 자치구로 확대,
뚝섬 한강공원 다회용기 배달존 등으로 일회용 배달용기 22만 개 감량
◆ 잠실야구장 다회용기 도입해 일회용기 57만 개 감량(’25년 고척스타디움 도입 예정)
◆ 대학, 한강공원 등 142개 축제 푸드트럭에 다회용기 도입해 일회용기 160만 개 감량
<사업장 폐기물 자체 처리 강화,
불연성 폐기물 재활용 확대 등으로 하루 136톤 감축>
서울시는 2024년 1~8월 ‘사업장 폐기물 자체처리 강화’와
‘불연성 폐기물 재활용 확대’로 하루 총 136톤을 감축하는 성과를 거뒀는데요.
시·구 합동 점검을 통해 관리 사각지대에 있었던
사업장 332개를 추가로 발굴했어요.
이로써 그동안 공공 처리했던 사업장의 폐기물을
자체 처리로 전환하면서 ‘종량제폐기물’ 91톤/일 감축했어요.
또, 불연성 폐기물*은 ‘23년 기준
하루 215톤 배출되어 31%(67톤/일)이 매립되었는데요.
이중 약 45톤/일을 재활용업체 위탁처리로 전환해
재활용률이 69%(148톤/일)에서 89%(193톤/일)로 상승했어요.
* 불연성 폐기물: 폐콘크리트, 고양이 모래, 화분, 타일, 깨진 유리, 도자기 등

SEOUL ENERGY DREAM CENTER (hereinafter "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent shall be taken in accordance with applicable laws.
- Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership, and preventing unauthorized use of services. - Customer inquiry handling
Personal information is processed for receiving inquiries through 1:1 inquiries and bulletin boards, contacting for fact verification, and notifying processing results.
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

During the use of services, IP addresses, access logs, cookies, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from the data subject, or within the period prescribed by law.
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the completion of said investigation.
- Non-member board post information: Until the post is deleted.
- 1:1 Inquiry information: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing (retention of records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under applicable laws.
Currently, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for smooth processing:

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)
- The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Destruction method: Personal information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irreproducible, and personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to suspend processing
- Rights may be exercised in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company shall take action without delay.
- If a data subject requests correction or deletion of personal information errors, the Company shall not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
- Password encryption: User passwords are encrypted for storage and management, so only the user can know them.
- Technical measures against hacking: Security programs are installed and regularly updated and inspected to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses.
- Access restriction: Access to personal information is controlled through the granting, changing, and revoking of access rights to the database system that processes personal information.
Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing:

Article 10 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the changes.
Effective Date: From the date of posting on the Site
