서울에너지드림센터, 2026 여름방학 특별프로그램 운영
서울에너지드림센터에서 8월 한 달간 진행된 여름방학 특별프로그램 ‘초록빛 여름방학, 자원순환 DREAM!’을 운영했습니다.
이번 특별프로그램은 버려지는 자원에 새로운 쓰임과 가치를 더하는 새활용을 주제로 마련됐습니다.
버려진 커피박을 활용해 다육식물을 심어보는 체험부터 버려지는 동화책을 입체북으로 재탄생시키는 ‘에코 팝업북 만들기’, ‘신나는 에코투어’,
그리고 ‘양말목 공방’까지 다채로운 새활용프로그램이 이어졌는데요.
그 유익했던 여름방학 프로그램의 주요 내용들을 소개해 드립니다!
[커피박 화분만들기]
8월 22일 토요일 오후, 커피를 만들고 남은 커피박을 활용한 화분에 다육이를 심어보는 체험 프로그램이 진행되었습니다. 커피박은 대부분 폐기물로 배출되지만, 적절한 가공과정을 거치면 화분이나 연료, 퇴비, 생활용품 등의 재료로 활용할 수 있는 자원입니다. 환경부도 커피박의 재활용을 확대하기 위해 순환자원 인정 절차를 간소화하는 등 관련 제도를 개선해 왔습니다. 참여자들은 커피박이 새로운 제품의 재료로 활용되는 과정을 알아보고, 커피박 화분에 직접 다육식물을 심었습니다.
일상에서 버려지는 자원도 새로운 쓰임을 찾을 수 있다는 점을 체험하며 자원순환의 필요성을 생각해보는 시간이었습니다.
[버려지는 동화책의 새로운 변신, 에코 팝업북 만들기]
8월 8일 토요일 오후, 버려지는 동화책을 입체적인 팝업북으로 재탄생시키는 특별한 시간이 펼쳐졌습니다. 이번 프로그램은 일상 속 탄소 배출을 줄이는 간단한 방법부터 자원순환의 가치를 담은 ‘새활용’의 개념까지 알아볼 수 있도록 알차게 구성되었는데요. 새활용이란 버려지는 물건에 창의적인 디자인과 활용도를 더해 새로운 가치를 지닌 제품으로 재탄생시키는 활동을 뜻합니다. 참여자들은 빛바랜 동화책의 장면을 직접 오리고 붙이며, 나만의 이야기가 담긴 멋진 팝업북을 정성껏 제작했습니다.
버려질 위험에 처했던 책들이 아이들의 손끝에서 입체적인 작품으로 살아나는 순간마다 웃음꽃이 피어났습니다.
직접 만든 팝업북을 들추어볼 때마다 마음속에 새겨진 친환경의 가치가 더욱 크게 펼쳐지기를 기대합니다.
[쓰레기 매립지에서 생태공원으로, 신나는 에코투어]
8월 6일부터 21일까지 총 4회에 걸쳐 노을공원과 마포자원회수시설을 탐방하는 ‘신나는 에코투어’가 진행되었습니다. 과거 쓰레기 매립장이었던 ‘난지도’가 월드컵공원으로 탈바꿈한 복원의 역사와 생태적 의미를 현장에서 깊이 이해해보는 특별한 시간이었는데요. 서울에너지드림센터 1층 서울시 탄소중립체험관에서는 전문 해설과 함께 재생에너지의 원리를 배우고 체험하며 일상 속 탄소중립 실천의 필요성을 눈으로 직접 확인했습니다. 이번 ‘신나는 에코투어’가 참여자 모두에게 지구 환경을 지켜나가는 든든한 밑거름이 되었기를 바랍니다.
[양말목으로 만드는 네잎클로버 키링]
8월 4일부터 19일까지 서울에너지드림센터 1층 서울시 탄소중립체험관에서는 전시관 방문객이 현장에서 자유롭게 참여할 수 있는 팝업형 체험 프로그램으로 ‘양말목 네잎클로버 키링 만들기’가 운영됐습니다. 양말목은 양말을 생산하는 과정에서 앞코 부분을 마감하며 잘려 나오는 고리 모양의 자투리 원단입니다. 참여자들은 버려질 수 있는 양말목을 직접 엮어 알록달록한 네잎클로버 키링으로 새활용했습니다. 이번 프로그램은 별도의 장시간 교육이 아닌 짧고 간편한 팝업형 체험으로 구성해, 전시관을 찾은 시민들이 자원순환의 의미를 쉽고 재미있게 경험할 수 있도록 했습니다. 참여자들은 키링을 완성하는 과정을 통해 버려지는 자원도 새로운 아이디어와 손길을 더하면 가치 있는 물건으로 다시 태어날 수 있다는 점을 자연스럽게 배울 수 있었습니다.

SEOUL ENERGY DREAM CENTER (hereinafter "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent shall be taken in accordance with applicable laws.
- Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership, and preventing unauthorized use of services. - Customer inquiry handling
Personal information is processed for receiving inquiries through 1:1 inquiries and bulletin boards, contacting for fact verification, and notifying processing results.
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

During the use of services, IP addresses, access logs, cookies, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from the data subject, or within the period prescribed by law.
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the completion of said investigation.
- Non-member board post information: Until the post is deleted.
- 1:1 Inquiry information: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing (retention of records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under applicable laws.
Currently, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for smooth processing:

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)
- The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Destruction method: Personal information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irreproducible, and personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to suspend processing
- Rights may be exercised in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company shall take action without delay.
- If a data subject requests correction or deletion of personal information errors, the Company shall not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
- Password encryption: User passwords are encrypted for storage and management, so only the user can know them.
- Technical measures against hacking: Security programs are installed and regularly updated and inspected to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses.
- Access restriction: Access to personal information is controlled through the granting, changing, and revoking of access rights to the database system that processes personal information.
Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing:

Article 10 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the changes.
