여름방학이 한창인 요즘, 집에 있자니 심심하고 밖에 나가자니 덥고 습해서 망설이고 계신가요?
마포구 상암동 평화의 공원에 위치한 서울에너지드림센터에서 '책으로 만나는 환경이야기' 라는 주제로 여름방학 행사를 진행하고 있다는 사실, 알고 계셨나요?
서울에너지드림센터에서 깨닫기, 경험하기, 알리기 3가지 파트로 도서특강을 진행하고 있으며, 1층과 2층에서는 환경책 추천도서관, 필사이어달리기, 환경책 안의 책갈피 자율체험과 온라인 이벤트를 진행하고 있습니다.
드림기자단은 도서특강 참여를 위해 7월 23일 일요일, [지구를 살리는 영화관] 도서특강 참여를 위해 서울에너지드림센터에 방문했습니다.
도서에 언급된 영화 중 ‘다운사이징’ 을 함께 관람하면서 중간중간 영화에 대한 소개와 환경과 관련된 내용도 언급해주셨습니다.
‘다운사이징’은 가까운 미래, 자원 부족이 심해진 사회에 180cm의 사람을 12.9cm로 줄일 수 있는 다운사이징 기술을 선택하게 되면서 벌어지는 일을 보여주는 영화입니다.
다운사이징을 통해 한 사람이 1년동안 버리는 폐기물의 양도 줄어들고, 소비 및 인간 활동의 영향도 줄어들기 때문에 좋다고만 생각했지만, 문제점도 발생하게 되는 내용입니다.
이번 특강을 통해 단순히 줄거리를, 내용만을 보기 위해 영화를 보는 것이 아니라, 영화 속에서 환경이 어떻게 표현되는지, 영화가 내포하고 있는 환경에 대한 주장은 무엇인지 알 수 있는 계기가 되었습니다.
드림기자단이 영화 ‘다운사이징’을 보고 조성화관장님의 설명을 들으면서 느낀 점은, 다운사이징 기술은 1인 하루 쓰레기 배출량과 자원 낭비에 대한 해결책이지만, 다운사이징 기술이 필수가 아닌 선택이기 때문에 큰 사람과 작은 사람의 의견차가 날 것이며 이를 악용하는 사람들이 생기게 될 것이라고 생각합니다.
7월 23일 진행한 지구를 살리는 영화관 뿐만 아니라, 7월 30일에는 풀씨가 된 모래알, 8월 6일에는 모두의 집을 주제로 도서특강을 진행하니 사전접수하고 참여해보세요!
특강이 끝나고 나오는 길에 3층 드림도서관에서는 환경책 추천 도서관에서 추천 도서를 자율 관람할 수 있고, 환경책 필사 이어달리기를 통해 필사를 자율 체험하는 프로그램도 진행 중에 있으니 참여해보시기 바랍니다. 3층 드림도서관에서 재생에너지로 만든 시원한 바람을 쐬며, 환경책 필사를 체험해보세요. 마음에 드는 구절을 눌러쓰며 내용을 마음에 새기며 사색에 잠겨보는건 어떨까요?
1층 드림갤러리에서는 지난 4~5월 진행한 가족환경그림대회 수상작 전시회와 환경책 안의 문장을 캘리그라피 책갈피에 적어보는 환경책 안의 책갈피 체험도 진행하고 있습니다. 체험존에 마련된 재료들을 이용해 환경책에서 발췌한 문구를 직접 캘리그라피로 적어볼 수 있는 공간인데요. 다 만든 책갈피는 소장하셔도 되고, 우측에 마련된 책갈피 저장소에 매달아 자랑해도 좋답니다.

SEOUL ENERGY DREAM CENTER (hereinafter "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent shall be taken in accordance with applicable laws.
- Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership, and preventing unauthorized use of services. - Customer inquiry handling
Personal information is processed for receiving inquiries through 1:1 inquiries and bulletin boards, contacting for fact verification, and notifying processing results.
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

During the use of services, IP addresses, access logs, cookies, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from the data subject, or within the period prescribed by law.
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the completion of said investigation.
- Non-member board post information: Until the post is deleted.
- 1:1 Inquiry information: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing (retention of records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under applicable laws.
Currently, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for smooth processing:

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)
- The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Destruction method: Personal information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irreproducible, and personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to suspend processing
- Rights may be exercised in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company shall take action without delay.
- If a data subject requests correction or deletion of personal information errors, the Company shall not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
- Password encryption: User passwords are encrypted for storage and management, so only the user can know them.
- Technical measures against hacking: Security programs are installed and regularly updated and inspected to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses.
- Access restriction: Access to personal information is controlled through the granting, changing, and revoking of access rights to the database system that processes personal information.
Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing:

Article 10 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the changes.
