"기후변화대응, 온 몸으로 배우고 함께 실천해요"
- 서울시 상암동 에너지드림센터에 특별전시관 ‘서울기후변화배움터’ 개관

□ 공공건물 최초의 제로에너지건물인 서울에너지드림센터에 기후변화 및 에너지에 대한 체험과 교육을 제공하는 ‘서울기후변화배움터’가 문을 연다.
□ 서울시는 상암동 서울에너지드림센터 2층에 ‘서울기후변화배움터’를 조성하고, 오는 11월 3일(목)에 개관식을 개최한다고 밝혔다. 앞으로 서울에너지드림센터는 ‘서울기후변화배움터’를 통해 기후변화에 대한 시민들의 인식 및 생활방식을 변화시키고, 시민들이 환경보호와 에너지절감을 실천할 수 있도록 도울 계획이다.
○ 11월 3일(목) 오전 10시부터 11시 30분까지 열리는 개관식에는 서울시 기후환경본부장, 마포문인회, 드와이트 외국인학교 학생들, 환경교육 관련 기관, 시민 등 100여명이 참석해 개관 기념식, 개관 퍼포먼스, 전시관 투어 등에 참여할 예정이다.
□ ‘서울기후변화배움터’는 기후변화 전시, 교육 및 체험을 목적으로 하는 특별전시관으로 조성되었다. 또한 기후변화에 대한 기본적인 지식부터 미래의 녹색직업에 이르기까지 다양한 교육 콘텐츠도 함께 갖추었다.
○ 기후변화를 배우고 체험할 수 있는 기후변화 전시관, 기후변화 관련 프로그램인 인형극과 그림자극이 진행될 소극장, 기후변화 및 관련 교육을 진행할 수 있는 체험학습실 등을 갖추고 있다.
○ 기후변화 전시관은 기후변화 원인과 결과를 다루는 ‘지구가 변하고 있대요!’, 지구공동체의 기후변화대응 노력과 결실을 보여주는 ‘모든 나라들이 힘을 모아야 해요!’, 서울시의 기후변화대응 실천을 전시한 ‘서울이 앞장서기로 약속했어요!’ 및 시민의 기후변화대응 실천방안을 다각도로 조명한 ‘내가 지구를 지킬 수 있어요!’ 등의 다양한 학습 콘텐츠를 보유하고 있다.
□ 서울시의 에너지 전시관 및 학습관으로써 핵심적인 역할을 해 온 서울에너지드림센터는 ‘서울기후변화배움터’의 개관으로 시민의 에너지 및 기후변화 학습공간으로 발돋움하게 되었다.
○ 서울에너지드림센터는 2012년 개관 이후 매년 7만 여명의 시민들이 찾는 대표적인 에너지 전시관 및 학습관으로 관람객들에게 신재생에너지 및 친환경에너지기술에 대한 학습 및 체험기회를 제공해 왔다.
○ 기존에 보유하고 있는 신재생에너지와 친환경에너지기술 관련 다양한 체험 및 학습프로그램에 ‘서울기후변화배움터’의 전시해설과 기후변화 체험프로그램을 더해 더욱 심도있게 기후변화 학습과 체험기회를 제공할 예정이다.
□ 유재룡 기후환경본부장은 “올 여름 기록적인 폭염이 발생하는 등 기후변화가 우리 삶에 얼마나 큰 영향을 미치고 있는지 알 수 있다”며, “우리 앞에 다가온 기후변화의 위기는 시민 여러분의 작은 실천들이 모이고 쌓일 때 큰 변화를 이끌어 내고 극복할 수 있을 것이라고 믿으며, ‘서울기후변화배움터’가 하나의 출발점이 될 수 있기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

SEOUL ENERGY DREAM CENTER (hereinafter "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent shall be taken in accordance with applicable laws.
- Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership, and preventing unauthorized use of services. - Customer inquiry handling
Personal information is processed for receiving inquiries through 1:1 inquiries and bulletin boards, contacting for fact verification, and notifying processing results.
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

During the use of services, IP addresses, access logs, cookies, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from the data subject, or within the period prescribed by law.
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the completion of said investigation.
- Non-member board post information: Until the post is deleted.
- 1:1 Inquiry information: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing (retention of records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under applicable laws.
Currently, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for smooth processing:

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)
- The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Destruction method: Personal information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irreproducible, and personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to suspend processing
- Rights may be exercised in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company shall take action without delay.
- If a data subject requests correction or deletion of personal information errors, the Company shall not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
- Password encryption: User passwords are encrypted for storage and management, so only the user can know them.
- Technical measures against hacking: Security programs are installed and regularly updated and inspected to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses.
- Access restriction: Access to personal information is controlled through the granting, changing, and revoking of access rights to the database system that processes personal information.
Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing:

Article 10 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the changes.
