서울에너지드림센터, 세계적인 그린빌딩으로 우뚝 서다
국내 최초의 에너지자립형 공공건물인 서울에너지드림센터가 국제 무대에서 명실상부한 그린빌딩으로 인정받았습니다. 10.5(수) 인도 뭄바이에서 열린 세계그린빌딩협의회 아시아·태평양 그린빌딩 리더십 어워즈(The Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards for 2016) 시상식에서 공공건물의 지속가능한 디자인과 성능에 대해 평가한 결과, 서울에너지드림센터가 3대 우수 건물로 선정되는 쾌거를 이루었습니다.
세계그린빌딩협의회(WGBC)는 1999년 설립된 국제민간기구로 5개지역(유럽, 아시아태평양, 아프리카, 아메리카, 중동·북아프리카) 네트워크에 74개국이 가입해 있으며 그린빌딩 리더십 어워즈를 아시아·태평양 지역과 유럽 지역으로 구분해 개최하고 있으며 지난 2014년부터 격년으로 열리고 있어 올해가 2회째입니다.
각국에서 예선을 거친 아시아·태평양 지역 11개국의 건물후보 중에서 서울에너지드림센터를 포함한 3개 건물이 지속가능한 디자인과 성능 부문 우수 공공건물로 선정되었으며, 전체 시상은 4개 분야(비즈니스, 상업, 공공, 주거)로 나누어 진행되어 분야별로 3개씩 총 12개 건물이 우수 건물로 선정되었습니다. 한국 내 예선을 거쳐 추천된 후보 건물 가운데 그린빌딩 리더십 어워즈에서 우수 건물로 선정된 것은 서울에너지드림센터가 유일합니다.
서울에너지드림센터는 건물의 친환경성 및 에너지효율화 측면의 우수성뿐 아니라 교육을 통한 시민참여, 지역과의 소통을 활발하게 하고 있다는 점에서 높은 평가를 받은 것으로 알려졌습니다.
서울에너지드림센터는 864개의 태양광 패널을 설치하여 연간 358,388kWh의 전기를 생산하고 있는데, 이 양은 건물의 연간 소비 전력량(168,757kWh)을 넘는 양입니다. 남은 전력은 한국전력공사에 송전하고 있는데 그 양이 연평균 240,636kWh에 이르며, 그중 178,600kWh의 전력을 판매하여 얻은 연평균 수익금은 2천여만원 정도 됩니다. 에너지드림센터는 3중 유리창호, 외부에 설치된 전동블라인드, 자연채광 중정, 경사벽, 고효율단열재, 자동조명제어시스템 등 고효율·친환경 건축기술이 집적되어 있으며, 친환경건축물 우수등급, 에너지효율등급 1등급을 받았습니다.
개관(2012년 12월) 이후 연간 7만 여명의 시민들이 방문하여 20여개의 다양한 교육 프로그램과 에코투어 등에 참여하고 있으며 해외 방문객 수도 연간 1천여 명 이상입니다. 또한 상암동 난지도에 위치한 서울에너지드림센터는 과거 쓰레기매립장이 생태공원으로 변신한 월드컵공원의 지역의 특수성을 활용하여 난빛축제 개최 및 에코웨딩 운영 등 지역과의 소통에도 기여하고 있습니다.

Privacy Policy
SEOUL ENERGY DREAM CENTER (hereinafter "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent shall be taken in accordance with applicable laws.
- Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership, and preventing unauthorized use of services. - Customer inquiry handling
Personal information is processed for receiving inquiries through 1:1 inquiries and bulletin boards, contacting for fact verification, and notifying processing results.
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

During the use of services, IP addresses, access logs, cookies, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from the data subject, or within the period prescribed by law.
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the completion of said investigation.
- Non-member board post information: Until the post is deleted.
- 1:1 Inquiry information: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing (retention of records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under applicable laws.
Currently, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for smooth processing:

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)
- The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Destruction method: Personal information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irreproducible, and personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to suspend processing
- Rights may be exercised in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company shall take action without delay.
- If a data subject requests correction or deletion of personal information errors, the Company shall not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
- Password encryption: User passwords are encrypted for storage and management, so only the user can know them.
- Technical measures against hacking: Security programs are installed and regularly updated and inspected to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses.
- Access restriction: Access to personal information is controlled through the granting, changing, and revoking of access rights to the database system that processes personal information.
Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing:

Article 10 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the changes.
