□ 서울에너지드림센터·서울특별시환경교육센터(센터장 이용성)는 서울특별시교육청이 지난 6월 한 달간 추진한 「2026 서울 생태전환교육 한마당」에 협력하여 초·중등 학생 대상 찾아가는 환경교육을 성공적으로 운영하며 학생들의 생태전환 실천문화 확산에 기여했다.
○ 서울에너지드림센터는 ‘평화의 공원’에 위치한 국내 최초 에너지자립형 친환경 공공건물로, 서울 도심 속에서 환경·에너지·기후변화에 관련된 다양한 체험교육 프로그램을 운영하는 기관이다.
○ 서울특별시환경교육센터는 「환경교육의 활성화 및 지원에 관한 법률」 및 「서울특별시 환경교육의 활성화 및 지원에 관한 조례」에 따라 서울에너지드림센터에 지정된 광역환경교육센터(지정: ’24. 5. 2)로 ‘환경학습도시 서울’의 환경교육 활성화를 위해 광역환경교육의 거점 역할을 수행하고 있다.
○ 서울특별시교육청이 6월 한 달간 진행한 「2026 서울 생태전환교육 한마당」 행사는 학생의 생태전환교육 행동을 촉진하기 위해 시교육청이 주최한 장기 프로젝트성 행사로 시교육청은 11개 지역교육지원청 및 광역·기초환경교육센터 등과 연계하여 ‘찾아가는 기후환경교실’, ‘지원청 실천마당’, ‘숏폼 공모전’, ‘에코톤’ 등으로 구성되어 일상 속 실천 행동을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 운영하였다.
○ 서울에너지드림센터·서울특별시환경교육센터는 이번 행사에 주요 협력기관으로 참여하여 초·중등 대상의 ‘찾아가는 기후환경교실(이동환경교실, DMZ 생물다양성교실, ZEB 디자인 클래스 등)’ 프로그램을 운영했다.
□ 센터가 「서울 생태전환교육 한마당」에 지원한 「찾아가는 기후환경교실」의 세부 프로그램은 이동환경교육차량을 활용한 학교로 찾아가는 체험형 ‘찾아가는 이동환경교실’과 생태적 소양을 기를 수 있는 ‘찾아가는 DMZ 생물다양성교실’, 그리고 기후위기 대응·적응과 관련한 ‘찾아가는 ZEB 디자인 클래스’ 프로그램 등으로, 센터는 학생들이 학교 안팎에서 다양한 주제의 환경교육을 경험할 수 있도록 협력·지원했다.
○ 먼저, ‘찾아가는 이동환경교실’은 ‘서울 탄소중립을 실천하라!’를 주제 하에 기후환경과 탄소중립의 개념을 이해하고 생활 속 탄소중립 실천 방법을 체험하는 콘텐츠로, 16교 55학급의 초등학생 1,033명이 참여했다.
○ 이어서, ‘찾아가는 DMZ 생물다양성교실’은 초등학교 고학년 및 중학생 대상의 프로그램으로 DMZ 생태계의 역사와 생태적 특징, 생물다양성의 가치 및 보전을 인식할 수 있는 2회차 수업으로 운영되었으며, 17교 39학급 852명의 학생이 참여했다.
○ 마지막으로, ‘찾아가는 ZEB 디자인 클래스’는 중학교 대상 프로그램으로 제로에너지건축물을 주제로 한 2회차 수업으로 운영되었으며, 7교 14학급 307명의 학생이 참여했다.
○ 참여 교사들은 프로그램의 체험성과 강사의 교육 운영에 대해 긍정적으로 평가했으며, 내년도 「서울 생태전환교육 한마당」에서는 운영 시간 확대, 활동 자료 보완, 참여 학급 확대 등을 반영하여 프로그램을 더욱 내실 있게 운영할 것을 제안했다.
□ 이용성 센터장(서울에너지드림센터·서울특별시환경교육센터)은 “생태적 지속가능성에 대한 이해에 기초하여 미래세대의 생태적 소양을 키우기 위해서는 기후위기, 탄소중립, 생물다양성 등 다양한 주제를 아우르는 환경교육과 함께 생태전환을 지향하는 교육이 함께 이루어져야 한다.”고 말했다. “앞으로도 학교환경교육 활성화를 위한 협력체계를 강화하고, 학생들이 생태적 전환의 가치를 일상에서 실천할 수 있도록 다양한 환경교육 협력 사례를 만들어가겠다.”고 밝혔다.

The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. - Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership, and preventing unauthorized use of services. - Customer inquiry handling
Personal information is processed for receiving inquiries through 1:1 inquiries and bulletin boards, contacting for fact verification, and notifying processing results.
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

During the use of services, IP addresses, access logs, cookies, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from the data subject, or within the period prescribed by law.
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the completion of said investigation.
- Non-member board post information: Until the post is deleted.
- 1:1 Inquiry information: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing (retention of records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under applicable laws.
Currently, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for smooth processing:

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)
- The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Destruction method: Personal information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irreproducible, and personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to suspend processing
- Rights may be exercised in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company shall take action without delay.
- If a data subject requests correction or deletion of personal information errors, the Company shall not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
- Password encryption: User passwords are encrypted for storage and management, so only the user can know them.
- Technical measures against hacking: Security programs are installed and regularly updated and inspected to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses.
- Access restriction: Access to personal information is controlled through the granting, changing, and revoking of access rights to the database system that processes personal information.
Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing:

Article 10 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the changes.
