서울특별시환경교육센터(센터장 이용성)는 지난 11월 13일(목), 서울에너지드림센터(마포구 증산로 14)에서 「2025년 서울특별시 광역센터-사회환경교육기관 2차 운영협의회」를 개최하여 사회환경교육 활성화를 위한 협의회 운영 및 협력 방향성을 설정하는 시간을 가졌다.
○ 서울특별시환경교육센터(이하 광역센터)는 「환경교육의 활성화 및 지원에 관한 법률」 및 「서울특별시 환경교육의 활성화 및 지원에 관한 조례」에 따라 서울에너지드림센터에 지정된 광역환경교육센터로서, ‘환경학습도시 서울’의 환경교육 활성화를 위한 광역환경교육의 거점 역할을 수행하고 있다.
○ 서울특별시 지정 사회환경교육기관은 2025년 11월 기준 총 14개소로 △마을언덕사회적협동조합 △(재)아름다운가게 △(사)녹색교육센터 △(주)샤인임팩트 △국립공원공단 북한산사무소 △(사)한국환경교육협회 △(주)플레이31 △(주)에코플레이 △한국환경공단 수도권서부환경본부 △노원에코센터 △중랑천환경센터 △(주)터치포굿 △북한산생태탐방원(’25 신규) △(사)환경교육센터(’25 신규) 등이 지정되어 있으며, 공공 및 민간 등 다양한 영역에서 시민 대상 우수 환경교육 콘텐츠를 제공하고 체계적인 사회환경교육 활성화에 기여하고 있다. 국가환경교육 통합플랫폼(2025. 11. 18. 기준)에 따르면 전국적으로 61개의 사회환경교육기관이 지정·운영되고 있다.
□ 이번 협의회에서는 2025년도 광역센터-사회환경교육기관 간 협력 성과를 공유하고, 2026년도 지속적인 협의회 운영 방향성 설정 및 공동의제 발굴을 통한 상호협력 방안 등을 주요 안건으로 논의하였다.
○ 사회를 맡은 권종휘 팀장(서울특별시환경교육센터)은 참석자 소개와 회의 개요를 안내한 뒤, 사회환경교육기관 대상 주요 추진사업 공유와 지난 4월에 진행한 1차 협의회 운영 결과 및 공동협력사업(‘25년 서울특별시 지역 환경교육 거버넌스 협의회 워크숍) 추진 결과를 공유하였다.
○ 이용성 센터장(서울특별시환경교육센터)는 지난 1차 운영협의회에서 설정한 협의체의 목적과 방향을 바탕으로 2026년도 협의회 운영 방향, 협력 및 활성화 방안에 대하여 자유롭게 의견을 나누는 시간을 가졌다.
○ 이날 회의에서는 △사회환경교육기관의 과제 △환경교육 플랫폼으로서의 서울 광역의 역할 제안 △다양한 영역의 사회환경교육기관 요구 파악을 위한 실태조사 및 자료집 제공 △협의회 공동 목표 설정 및 역할 분담을 통한 단계적인 구조 마련 등 다양한 의제가 논의되었다.
□ 이용성 서울특별시환경교육센터장은 “이번 협의회는 서울의 사회환경교육이 나아가야 할 방향을 함께 고민하는 중요한 시간이었다”며, “2026년에는 사회환경교육 활성화를 위한 공통의 목표를 설정하고 단계적으로 성장할 수 있도록 광역센터-사회환경교육기관, 사회환경교육기관-사회환경교육기관 간의 협력을 더욱 촘촘히 강화할 수 있도록 광역센터 차원에서 적극적으로 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다. 참고로, 광역환경교육센터와 사회환경교육기관(시도지사 지정) 간 협의체 운영을 통한 발전 방향 모색 사례는 서울특별시환경교육센터가 전국 최초로 시도하고 있다.

SEOUL ENERGY DREAM CENTER (hereinafter "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent shall be taken in accordance with applicable laws.
- Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership, and preventing unauthorized use of services. - Customer inquiry handling
Personal information is processed for receiving inquiries through 1:1 inquiries and bulletin boards, contacting for fact verification, and notifying processing results.
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

During the use of services, IP addresses, access logs, cookies, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from the data subject, or within the period prescribed by law.
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the completion of said investigation.
- Non-member board post information: Until the post is deleted.
- 1:1 Inquiry information: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing (retention of records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under applicable laws.
Currently, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for smooth processing:

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)
- The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Destruction method: Personal information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irreproducible, and personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to suspend processing
- Rights may be exercised in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company shall take action without delay.
- If a data subject requests correction or deletion of personal information errors, the Company shall not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
- Password encryption: User passwords are encrypted for storage and management, so only the user can know them.
- Technical measures against hacking: Security programs are installed and regularly updated and inspected to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses.
- Access restriction: Access to personal information is controlled through the granting, changing, and revoking of access rights to the database system that processes personal information.
Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing:

Article 10 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the changes.
