2025 서울 환경교육주간 행사, 체험과 교류로 성황리에 마무리

□ 서울특별시환경교육센터(센터장 이용성)는 지난 6월 4일(수), 서울에너지드림센터(마포구 증산로 14)에서 환경교육주간을 맞이하여 다양한 환경교육 주체와 함께하는 「2025 서울 환경교육주간 행사」를 열었다.
○ 서울특별시환경교육센터는 「환경교육의 활성화 및 지원에 관한 법률」 제25조(지역환경교육센터의 지정) 및 「서울특별시 환경교육의 활성화 및 지원에 관한 조례」 제12조(서울특별시 환경교육센터 지정 등)에 따라 서울에너지드림센터에 지정된 광역환경교육센터(지정: ’24. 5. 2)로 ‘환경학습도시 서울’의 환경교육 활성화를 위해 광역환경교육의 거점 역할을 수행하고 있다.
○ 환경교육주간은 「환경교육의 활성화 및 지원에 관한 법률」 제23조(환경교육주간)에 따라 시민의 환경보전 및 실천 의지를 높이고 환경교육을 활성화하기 위해 지정된, ‘환경의 날(6월 5일)’ 포함 1주일 간을 말한다.
○ 금년 ‘2025 서울 환경교육주간 행사’는 서울특별시환경교육센터의 첫 환경교육주간 행사로, 환경교육주간 준비위원회(서울특별시환경교육센터, 강서구환경교육센터, 서대문구환경교육센터(2호), 은평구환경교육센터(1호), 종로구환경교육센터) 구성을 통해 행사를 기획하고, 서울환경교육네트워크, 기초환경교육센터, 사회환경교육기관·단체 등 다양한 환경교육 주체가 참여하였다.
□ 이번 ‘서울 환경교육주간 행사’는 서울특별시 소재 환경교육 기관·단체가 직접 운영하는 ‘환경교육 전시·체험부스’를 비롯해, 서울특별시 생태·환경적 특성을 직접 체험하는 ‘환경 오리엔티어링’, 그리고 다양한 ‘환경문화행사’ 등 환경교육 주체와 시민이 함께하는 장으로 운영되었다.
○ 환경교육 전시·체험부스는 서울특별시 환경교육 기관·단체의 참여를 통해, 생태전환과 탄소중립을 위한 환경 보드게임, 친환경 만들기, 탄소중립 먹거리 등 다채로운 환경교육 프로그램이 운영되었다.
○ 또한 환경 뮤지컬 <지구용사 푸름이>, 마술&버블쇼 <환경지킴이 초록술사> 등 환경문화행사를 통해 시민의 환경의식 고취를 위한 시간도 함께했다.
□ 특히, ‘제1회 서울 환경교육사 경연대회’를 개최함으로써 환경교육 주체의 우수한 기량을 선보이고, 환경교육사 등 환경교육 주체의 역량을 강화하는 데 있어 중요한 계기를 마련하였다.
○ ‘제1회 서울 환경교육사 경연대회’는 서울특별시 환경 특성을 반영한 자유주제로 진행되었다. 경연대회 참여자들은 자원순환, 대기오염 등의 서울형 주제를 선정하여 참여하였다.
○ 교수학습지도안 및 수업시연 평가 등을 통해 우수자 4인을 선발한 후, 우수한 평가를 받은 참여자에게는 대상, 최우수상, 우수상, 장려상 등 서울특별시장상, 서울특별시환경교육센터장상의 상장을 수여하였다.
□ 서울특별시환경교육센터 이용성 센터장은 “이번 서울 환경교육주간 행사를 통해 학생과 시민들이 환경교육의 중요성을 직접 체험하고, 서울의 다양한 환경교육 주체가 교류하고, 상호 협력을 강화하는 계기가 되었다.”며, “일회성 행사에서 그치지 않은 지속적 추진으로, 환경학습도시(2017, 선언), 생태문명 전환도시(2019, 선언) 실현을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
□ 한편, 서울에너지드림센터는 환경교육주간 기념 특별 프로그램으로, 6월 6일(금)부터 6월 8일(일)까지 누구나 참여할 수 있는 미션형 환경교육인 ‘드림 인생샷 사진관’을 통해, 서울시민에게 환경교육주간을 알리고, 탄소중립 실현을 위한 참여의 장을 제공하였다.

The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent shall be taken in accordance with applicable laws.
- Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership, and preventing unauthorized use of services. - Customer inquiry handling
Personal information is processed for receiving inquiries through 1:1 inquiries and bulletin boards, contacting for fact verification, and notifying processing results.
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

During the use of services, IP addresses, access logs, cookies, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from the data subject, or within the period prescribed by law.
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the completion of said investigation.
- Non-member board post information: Until the post is deleted.
- 1:1 Inquiry information: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing (retention of records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under applicable laws.
Currently, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for smooth processing:

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)
- The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Destruction method: Personal information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irreproducible, and personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to suspend processing
- Rights may be exercised in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company shall take action without delay.
- If a data subject requests correction or deletion of personal information errors, the Company shall not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
- Password encryption: User passwords are encrypted for storage and management, so only the user can know them.
- Technical measures against hacking: Security programs are installed and regularly updated and inspected to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses.
- Access restriction: Access to personal information is controlled through the granting, changing, and revoking of access rights to the database system that processes personal information.
Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing:

Article 10 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the changes.
