서울특별시환경교육센터, 해양환경 주제 환경교육 연수 개최

□ 11일(금) 서울에너지드림센터(마포구 증산로 14)에서 서울특별시 관내 사회환경교육 담당자를 대상으로 한 ‘해양환경교육의 이해와 사례탐구’ 교육연수가 진행되었다. ○ 서울특별시환경교육센터는 「환경교육의 활성화 및 지원에 관한 법률」 및 「서울특별시 환경교육의 활성화 및 지원에 관한 조례」에 따라 서울에너지드림센터에 지정된 광역환경교육센터(지정: ‘24.5.2)로 ‘환경학습도시 서울’의 환경교육 활성화를 위해 광역환경교육의 거점 역할을 수행하고 있다. ○ 이날 연수는 서울특별시 사회환경교육 담당자(실무자, 교육강사, 활동가 등)를 대상으로 한 연수로 사회환경교육 관계자 60여명이 참여한 가운데 해양쓰레기, 기후변화와 해양생태를 비롯해 경기, 인천, 한강을 연계한 해양환경교육의 사례를 경험하는 교육과정(5과목, 8시간)으로 운영되었다.
□ 연수과정은 해양환경의 주요 의제인 ‘해양쓰레기와 미세플라스틱’, ‘기후변화와 해양생태계’를 비롯해 다양한 영역에서의 ‘해양환경교육의 사례’를 탐구하고 실습하는 과정으로 운영되었다. ○ 첫 교육은 이유나 팀장(㈔동아시아바다공동체 오션 국제협력팀장, 해양환경보호단 ReDi 대표)의 「해양쓰레기와 미세플라스틱」, 「바다로 흐르는 한강」 등을 주제 강의로, 육상으로부터 기인한 해양쓰레기의 문제 및 인간의 활동에 의한 해양환경문제 발생 등을 이해하고 한강을 연계한 해양환경교육을 경험하는 시간을 가졌다. ○ 이어진 교육은 김영남 팀장(해양환경공단 해양이용영향평가팀장)의 「기후변화와 해양생태」 주제 강의로, 해양생태계 및 해양환경, 기후변화의 해양생태 영향, 탄소흡수원으로서 해양을 이해하는 내용이 진행되었다. ○ 세 번째 교육은 강주효 국장(인천환경운동연합 교육국장)의 「도심형 해양환경교육 사례」 공유를 통해 해양환경을 이해하는 도심형 해양환경교육 프로그램 사례를 소개하였다. ○ 마지막 교육은 이선표 국장(환경보전교육센터 사무국장)의 「경기도형 해양환경교육 운영사례 및 실습」 교육으로, 경기도형 해양환경교육 사례를 공유하고, 해양폐기물을 활용한 업사이클링 실습 활동으로 마무리되었다.
□ 이용성 센터장(서울특별시환경교육센터)은 “사회환경교육 주체의 역량 강화와 환경교육의 질적 도모를 위해 지속적으로 노력할 것이며, 특히 이번 해양환경교육 연수가 향후 서울특별시 곳곳에서 해양환경교육이 활성화되는 계기가 마련되기를 바란다”고 하였고, “산림(숲), 하천･습지, 해양환경, 자원순환, 탄소중립, 생태전환 등 다양한 주제와 서울을 잇는 역량강화 연수과정을 개설함으로서 환경교육 주체의 성장 및 전문인력 양성의 요람이 되도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다. |

SEOUL ENERGY DREAM CENTER (hereinafter "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent shall be taken in accordance with applicable laws.
- Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership intent, identification and authentication for membership services, maintaining and managing membership, and preventing unauthorized use of services. - Customer inquiry handling
Personal information is processed for receiving inquiries through 1:1 inquiries and bulletin boards, contacting for fact verification, and notifying processing results.
Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The Company processes the following personal information items:

During the use of services, IP addresses, access logs, cookies, and service usage records may be automatically generated and collected.
Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period)
The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use consented to when collecting personal information from the data subject, or within the period prescribed by law.
- Member information: Until membership withdrawal. However, if an investigation related to a violation of applicable laws is in progress, until the completion of said investigation.
- Non-member board post information: Until the post is deleted.
- 1:1 Inquiry information: 3 years after completion of inquiry processing (retention of records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under applicable laws.
Currently, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for smooth processing:

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)
- The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to expiration of the retention period or achievement of processing purposes.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Destruction method: Personal information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irreproducible, and personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects)
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time:
- Request to view personal information
- Request for correction in case of errors
- Request for deletion
- Request to suspend processing
- Rights may be exercised in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company shall take action without delay.
- If a data subject requests correction or deletion of personal information errors, the Company shall not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
- Password encryption: User passwords are encrypted for storage and management, so only the user can know them.
- Technical measures against hacking: Security programs are installed and regularly updated and inspected to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses.
- Access restriction: Access to personal information is controlled through the granting, changing, and revoking of access rights to the database system that processes personal information.
Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing:

Article 10 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of implementation. Any additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies will be announced through notices at least 7 days prior to the effective date of the changes.
